DON'T!!!
my friends there is NO, and I mean absolutely positively NO reason that any of us should ever be worrying about anything... and the reason that I know this so profoundly SIMPLE, it is because of a really simple reason (many would call it common sense, but let me plush, yes me go on record saying that what many call common sense is certainly not so common, yeah what a topic... we will come back to this one later, I can go on for days on this one)
and this ANSWER may sound a bit cliche for some of u, but hey ask yourself a question -- do I care (Thanks Bishop Jakes) (LOL) -- and the answer is to this question about me caring is No! I Don't Care...
alright keep up -- back to the main answer to the main question... the reason that we don't have to worry is...
Drum Roll Please (I want to make sure that this is set up with the amount of splendor and be grandiose as it should be)
Simply because the Bible tells me so... today is one of those times that I am not putting a subtle scripture at the end of the Reality is Reality submission -- hoping, praying, and wishing that you might see the link, might click on it and might read it... today I am putting the word right here in the submission and am making NO Apologies for it... God is wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy to Great for me not to put it directly in here, for the sake of being politically correct (right in the eyes of the world) and WRONG in the sight of our God... I am not having nor am I feeling that today, so here goes plush and his politically incorrect self(ha,ha, ha, ha LOL) (oh somebody is going to catch how powerful all of this is -- one day) Matthew 6:25-34
Do Not Worry
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[k]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Now certainly my friends let's get to the Reality is Reality moment of what has prompted this submission today -- so lets see where will we start -- weekly with IMPULSE we open our Bible Study with this scripture, Weekly with koncep we open our staff meetings with this scripture, daily I minister to folk with this scripture -- and today I was STUPID enough to begin to even think about worrying about a situation (again this is the World Wide Web) so NO I will not tell you what the situation is (i assured you that there is a certain level of privacy that we all should have and I am exercising that right today, have you exercised it recently it might just do you some good try it! (LOL)
back to the point... but I will tell you this our GREAT God has nipped it in the bud (the situation is gone)... and guess what, ya boy, yeah me plush, has moved on... and is back on track, back on this roller coaster as we know it, operating as a fine oiled machine, SPEKTAKULAR as ever... certainly the day looks so much brighter FROM this vantage point, point of reference, focal point, perspective -- Yes, yes, and yes again my friends Reality is Reality at its best
Day 23, Lesson 23 Reality is STILL Reality, and will continue to be... certainly u get it today...

For the past few days I have waited for the blog to be updated; however each time I looked it had not been. So, today I thought maybe there is something I missed that God’s trying to reveal to me. So, I read Friday’s thought again, and realize that while it seems simple not to worry or it should be “common sense”, your right sometimes we take that privilege for granted. So in evaluating the “reality” I realize that even I take God’s willingness to take my worry away for granted. So I have decided this day to make my common practice to not worry. It sounds simple but for many of us it’s not. So I invite everyone to read Eugene Petterson’s translation of Philippians 4:5-9; which is the commonly quoted “be anxious for nothing”.
ReplyDeleteDon't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
8-9Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
